    Game deleted itself and I can’t install it again


    Hello,

    Yesterday I launched Apex Legends and it prompted me back to home saying an update was needed (56MB). It began, then it said it needed 356MB more and asked to free some space. I checked and I had 100MB free (which sounded weird), so I stopped the update
    and deleted 10GB. When I went back to the update, it wouldn’t start again. I rebooted my Xbox One and when it was online again Apex had been completely deleted. I already read that this is done to prevent game files to be corrupted whenever you abort an update,
    but the fact is that I am not able to install it again from the store: the download just stopped at 1.1GB (and I also freed some other space, reaching up to 120GB free space).

    I can say in that yesterday my Gold expired, even if I went live on mixer twice and was connected to Live. Today I subscribed Gold again and tried to install Apex, which now stops at 5.5GB and it won’t go.

    Help would be much appreciated.

    Hey there happytechnology,

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums for advice on how to possibly get this this resolved. I can totally understand how this could be pretty concerning and how you eager you could be to get some kills. I suggest giving the console a

    soft factory reset    . It's a reset of your console to factory default while keeping your games and apps installed.

    When you get the chance, give that a shot and let us know if that helped.

    Perhaps the game itself is corrupted. Have you tried deleting the game and installing it again?
