Game data sync very slow....but network isn't?

Hi,

I've got an odd one. The data sync on my Xbox One has hit the floor recently, for example to download a 128Mb game data file takes about 15 minutes. Now I have recently changed my router, this might be an issue but i am also on the preview program and I've
not used the Xbox much in the last week or so and I see that I've received an update.

I've run through the network tests and they all come back as working (so I assume the new router isn't blocking anything). If I do a network diagnostics I get a 68Mb up/18Mb down and latency of ~100ms and MTU of 1450. The broadband is over PPPoE.

So what could be causing the slowness of the data sync? does it use a particular port to sync the data...maybe the new router is causing a delay?

Any thoughts?

Yeah with an online game it's not on MS, the game requires the update to sync to server, without it there would be issues.

Such a drag you guys have data caps or slow speeds.

 

Can`t sync cloud data

All the save cloud games are very slow or in 90% error sync'. Only solution, try again,again and again.... and sometimes..... Miracle !!! save sync' !

 

This may work for you it worked for me when I had syncing issues. What you need to do is take your console offline from the network, then do a hard restart and once the console is on set it back to online mode this should fix the issue.

There was a point with me that I could not even sync with the servers and grab my saves online.
