game data lost

went to play forza 5 last night and it started syncing took a while but when it finished all my saved data had gone and tried making me start fom scratch tried a few things to resolve this like restore default settings and remove and reinstall gamertag but
looks as though all has gone unless someone knows anything else.Also my fifa pro has started from scratch looks like the cloud may have lost all my game data.

When you delete a profile you're given the option to delete only the profile or the profile and all item. If you chose the second option then it did delete your saves. You can redownload your gamertag, but unless you had your saves backed up, there is no
way to get them back.

I was helped by Art on chat (9/26 @ 2000)

My profile had been locked due to some kind of two-step verification.

I was assisted to delete the profile defaulted to my xbox 360 - but this has deleted all my game progress and all everything associated with my profile.

That's a bit wierd.

How long has it been happening?

Because we're conditioned to expecting immediate responses from the internet, fast food, credit card purchases etc... then we tend to have little patience when it comes to something you have to wait for.

If it's only happened today... as frustrating as it is then you may simply just have to wait.

I wouldn't be surprised to see all your data back within 24 hours.

Not ideal at all.... but while you wait, why not contact Turn 10 as MS suggest, so the problem is logged, and if it's all fixed in the next 24 hours you can continue to pursue some sort of compensation for the inconvenience?

 

my xbox is reinstalling forza now it lets me play b4 its finished but still al my stuff has gone.

 

will give it 24 hours but really need my forza stuff for tora bit of a pain hope it does resolve the issue or wll be going for ps4 as that is all my stuff i have done in the last year

 

While all of that sucks, I find it slightly odd that in response to such a problem you would go out and buy a $400 console due to it. If anything, I would get upset and probably walk away from gaming for awhile. (That's just me.)

 

one day its all fine the next its all gone the only thing i still have is my ultimate team and reinstalling my games is going to day most of today by the looks of it. Hope it does resolve itself as have always prefered xbox but is just really frustrating
and really need it for big TORA race on sunday otherwise thats my championship down the drain. Its like my last year of gaming has dis.apeared.

 

Not sure about other games but I do remember seeing a few posts over on the Official Forza forums where some gamers have reported losing their Forza 5 saves.

Not sure if there's a solution but would be worth checking the site out if you haven't already, good luck.
