    Hi all,

    I was wondering if anyone could help?

    So I have just started moving games over to an External HDD to free up some space on my Xbox One.

    All was going well until I went back into the 'My Games & App' section.

    I thought to myself 'Oh this is strange, why are theses games this still showing on my Xbox Drive?... Let me deleted these real quick now that they are on my HDD'

    I didn't realise at the time that there was a filter selected to show ALL my games on both Internal and External HHD's....

    Turns out I have deleted the games off of the External HDD.... *Faceplam*

    Not the end of the world to be honest as they were games that I don't really play anymore... But I was wondering If anyone knew if deleting the games would have lost the save data as well?

    I can easily re-install the games... but it is the save data that is precious!

    I can't see any options for game data in the Xbox One menu, so I wasn't sure if there was a secret menu or something along those lines?...

    That isn't ideal, but again.. not the end of the world..

    Hi crushurcod24,

    I don't think you will be able to recover your data unfortunately. When you format a hard drive it wipes what's on it and makes it so that the device that formatted it can use it to store files. When you did that with your Mac computer it would of deleted
    your GTA V save file. Yeah you will also have to format the hard drive for the Xbox 360 again, in order for it to save games or game saves. Look at the

    Using USB flash drives with Xbox 360     support page for some more information.

    Thank you very much for answering! It sucks to hear that, but can my online game progress still be recovered using my gamertag and xbox live account or was all that online data on the hard drive too? Thank you
