Game data gone

So I recently had an issue connecting to Xbox Live and it was fixed by a Microsoft Employee via Live Chat, they told me to delete my profile and items and re-download it. It fixed the issue but as I've read all your game data goes too. I was wondering if
I could get these back on my Xbox 360 so I can continue playing..

Game Progress Data Gone

I have just had a similar thing happen.

I downloaded the latest console update recently.

Last night I used a second controller to log my wifes gamertag in so we could play Black Ops 3 zombies together. (Her account was on my old xbox one but I upgraded to the elite, as she doesn't play often logging her in hasn't come up yet.)

It logged her in without much hassle. From the zombies lobby screen where it prompted a second player to press A if they wanted to play. Then selected "add new" and logged in with her credentials.

Doing this wiped not just Black Ops 3, but every other save game on my hard drive.

Halfway through Black Ops 3 campaign on Realistic. Wiped.

Fallout 4 level 40 something nearly finished story. Wiped

Just Cause 3, started recently. Wiped

Halo 5 well into the campaign. Wiped

The list goes on.

Thank jeebus this is a new xbox and I haven't played many games on it. But still i'm so p///ed off.

Worse than that not one game would sync with the cloud until hours after when Black Ops 3 finally synced.

It synced the wiped data from my xbox hard drive to the cloud and permanently overwrote my progress on the cloud

 

Game Progress Data Gone

After the most recent update one of my game's game progress data was reset to 0%. All my achievements are still there but I am back at the beginning of the actual game. Is there any way to sync the local content with the saved game data that was synced
to the cloud before everything got reset? The game is Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

 

Your game data would only have disappeared if you selected "delete profile AND items", but to delete the profile you only need to select "delete profile ONLY".

If you selected the former ("profile and items"), the data was permanently deleted and cannot be retrieved. Selecting the latter ("profile only") deletes only the profile but leaves all game saves and so on.

 

Oh and I have a follow up question, I play Fifa 15, I have a team (which was deleted on my 360) but I still use the web app, can I transfer my team onto my Xbox One even if my Xbox 360 data has been deleted.

 

Your Ultimate Team should still be transferrable (it's server-based, so it shouldn't matter there is no local save file), but to confirm you may want to speak with EA directly:

Can I do this for any other game?

 

Your GTA V online character is transferrable as well, as are your Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer stats (and Advanced Warfare if you have that).

It depends on the game. By and large, single player progression will not transfer, and for some games you can transfer online/multiplayer progression - but not all games.
