Game data and game pass

You won't lose your progress if your subscription expires. So if you decide to buy the game later or renew your subscription later, you'll be able to pick up where you left off.

What I mean is you are playing the game from game pass and the data is on an Xbox data.

1. I am using PC Game Pass on my gaming computer.

2. Yes, I played the game in February when I had game pass, and now I no longer have game pass.

3. Yes, I didn’t wanna pay $10 and have to download 80GB of content for a few megabytes of save data.

It’s unfortunate that my save data was removed from my computer just because I deleted the game. I still wanted the save data.

If I purchase the game pass and download the game, will the saved data and in-game purchase's transfer over?

All of your game data will be completely safe. Do not worry about progress and achievement or anything. But you will lose access to games included in the game pass.

Say, if you purchase any of those games, or maybe get the game pass again in future, all your game data will get restored and you can continue right where you had left off.
