Game Crashing on XBOX One

I have recently been having problems with most specifically SMITE on XBOX One continuously crashing after ~5 minutes of playtime (rough estimate , no specific time, as it fluctuates). This has been happening for weeks now, general
trouble shooting such as restarting the XBOX, and uninstalling/reinstalling the game do not seem to be helping. My greatest concern is that at one point I had spilled a slight amount of water onto the solid plastic part of the console, not any filters, and
had cleaned it up, as I could remember before that instance this had not happened. I do not believe the water made it into the console but could be a possibility. Only SMITE seems to crash, as I do not believe I have had this problem with any other game. When
the game crashes it happens in a multitude of ways, such as simply going black and quitting out, or making a repeated robotic like noise. Any help or direction in this case is helpful, thank you for your patience.

MY XBONE JUST DIED!!!!!!!

It's not just BF4, DR3 as well is crashing on me. Google Xbox One games crashing. There are also several threads in the XO support forum discussing it.

 

Monopoly deal issues

Same problem here. Every Hasbro game is having problems on Xbox One, but this one is crashing every single time!

My goal here is to prevent the constant freezing on SMITE, not to let it freeze, then have to continuously load back into the game, thank you for the response though.
