Game crashing and windows restarts.

My game keeps crashing and ive troubleshooted almost everything like running administration and doing clean boots and all when playing rainbow six siege. Can someone help me? My windows restarts on its own when it crashes.

well first thing i noticed within your replies was there is an issue with the RainbowSix.exe file (most likely had become corrupt somehow, possibly during an update for the game?) so one of the first things i would do is use the game file checker/repair option within the Xbox app specifically for this game to ensure if there is a corrupt file such as the one listed, it can be over-written with a replacement that is not corrupt, secondly, i noticed you mentioned you are using a NVIDIA graphics adapter (no worries, i use a NVIDIA card as well) do you by chance have the NVIDIA gforce experience app installed along with the graphics adapter's driver files? the gforce experience app helps to ensure you always are running the most recent game ready drivers for your specific gpu, and the app also makes adjustments to your graphics settings based on your installed gpu, to ensure a more "bug-free" experience can be achieved, and it does this for each game you have installed independently, ensuring you have a tailored configuration that is best suited for your system configuration, i highly recommend installing the NVIDIA Experience app if you haven't already it literally is a game changer! pun intended. also have you tried either updating or re-installing your Direct X files on your system? may seem as if it would have little barring on your situation, but you would be surprised just how much impact the direct x version installed may be the road block that is keeping you from having an enjoyable gaming experience. and after all theses, you are still experiencing the issue, try UN-installing the gpu drivers, restarting your PC, and installing the latest drivers (and experience app as mentioned above) and see if the combination of all the remedies as a collective that had been listed solves the issue. let me know if any of these suggestions have resolved your issue you are experiencing. I have no updates and im currently using 64gb of ram and they're all the same. i have had logs on event viewer that i've researched and all.

could be ram issue, other games which are less ram demanding would run fine in that context, where this game may be more demanding, run memory diagnostic test, if that doesnt show any issues could try to uninstall the game and reinstall AFTER checking for any windows updates, and installing any that may be available (make sure to check the "optional updates" as well, there may be other hardware driver updates such as chipset, ext. that are optional that you were previously unaware of, worth the checking it out anyway, if still having issues, right click the start menu, click on computer management, click on event viewer and look for any recent warning or critical event logs, if theres any present, your most likely to find the cause to the issue within those logs. hope this helps

I just crashed and saw this on event viewer.

The NVIDIA OpenGL driver has not been able to initialize

a connection with the GPU. This might be due to out of memory error,

an exhaustion of system resources or too many graphical applications running.

The application will not render correctly.
