    This has happened to me quite often (around 20 times if not more) while playing Dragon Age Inquisition. I got corrupt data because of this problem once and i'm finding it hard to invest hours upon hours if my save is just gonna get wiped. So far I have been
    lucky and the crash always happened shortly after an auto save and only once
    during the save (    when the data got corrupt), but I don't really feel like taking a chance with losing my saves again so if there is a solution to this, it would be great to know. I tried a hard reboot (even unplug and everything) and tried clear
    the storage thingy but it just crashed again so it's not fixed... help?

    How do you prevent games from crashing?

    I've recently had Forza Horizon 2 crash during a loading screen which corrupted my data. The game would no longer let me login using my profile only so my only option was to restart after putting nearly 40 hours into the game.

    By crash I mean when the audio buzzes profusely for a couple seconds and you are sent back to the dashboard. I have had corrupted data issues with two games so far because of it. I can't seem to find any information why it actually happens or ways to prevent
    it. Memory leak is the big one I think but even hard rebooting your console doesn't prevent it from freezing an half hour later. I hope my experiences with corrupted data are very isolated but it has happened twice which is a big concern for me.

    Anyone have and input?

    Sending it in for repair worked. DR3 is now no longer crashing me back to the dashboard. Disk drive is fixed as well.

    I have sent mine in for repair. I got it back and now DR3 works fine. This is a hardware issue. If any games are crashing you back to the dashboard, send in the unit. That worked for me.
