Game Covers in My Games Menu on Xbox 360

Hi You all,

I think it's very important to say it now and do something about it, and to ask this questions:

what will happen when You turn off servers, Microsoft?

and

what's happening when You have server issues?

or

when user isn't connected to LIVE?

He/she hasn't got any covers in this Menu or hasn't got some of them. And they will all disappear after shutting down servers.

You really should think about making update with all covers

or

updates to all games - single one of them - with covers to prevent this annoying issue, Microsoft.

And staying in subject...

Condemned 2: Bloodshoot hasn't got cover AT ALL. Fix it, please!

By design, the Xbox 360 will not scratch a disk unless the console is moved when turned on. However, if this is something that persists, then my advice would be to submit your console for repair via the online Service
Center.

My game covers...

Thanks (about the gamertag) sorry if it's in wrong section. Really annoying, I bought Black Ops 2 for 69,95, and last time my game broke and I tried to change it, they just said "We wont accept broken games"... Next time I buy a game, I ask if they have
one what is not inside any covers.

 

Hey there, Rafael! These are terrific questions. We have no plans to shut off the servers at this time, so we currently have no way to answer your initial questions.

The covers themselves need a Xbox Live connection to show because they are saved on our servers, not locally on your console. I do highly suggest making a post on our
Feedback site that suggests having an update so that we can implement users downloading the cover art so that it can be visible without an internet connection! It's a terrific idea, and your voice will be better heard
over there.

As for the Condemned 2: Bloodshot cover art, I am able to see it just fine here. Just to make sure we have all of our bases covered, please be sure that your console and account regions are set to your physical location. This will ensure the best possible
experience for Xbox Live for your region. If you already have everything set up that way, please send me a picture of what you're seeing on the console so that we may be able to look into it further!

Looking forward to seeing if what I've suggested works for you! Please do post back if you are able to see that cover art after my suggestions.

Problem is exactly the same on US and PL account.

Cover from installed, Arcade and Indie games appear. Only this one isn't.

(can't add pictures here :/ as You can see in previous post)

Thanks so much for the update, IamDreamshifter! I apologize, I normally explain how to get images here on the forums! You will need to upload the image to an image sharing site like
OneDrive or a site of your choice. Once you have done that, you can post the link to that image so that I can see it.

If you feel more comfortable posting it to me privately, you can do so by hitting the envelope at the bottom of post to send me a private message. Once I have viewed the image, we'll see what our next steps are.

Thank you so much! Those pictures are perfect for showing what is going on. I went ahead and downloaded the game on my end here, and once it's downloaded, the game art does disappear!

Because of this, I have gone ahead and passed this on to the appropriate people. Once I have more information, I will post back in here for you.

 

If you're connected to Live, covers should appear, provided the game is still listed on Xbox Live. If you're not connected then the covers don't appear. If the game has been taken off Xbox Live, the cover will probably not appear for you.

 

Hey, IamDreamshifter! I've been told that this should be resolved. Please follow these steps for me so that we can confirm it is indeed all fixed:

• Delete the game by either going into My Games in the Game hub and hitting "X" for Game Details on the game, or following the deleting steps in our Copy, move, or delete
  Xbox content support article.
• Clear your cache.
  
• Redownload the Xbox content by going into your Download History if it is a digital version of the game you received; reinstall the game from the disc
  if that is how you had it on your console previously.

Please let me know the results of this! Once I know how everything has worked for you, I will update the appropriate people.

Done all that. I deleted not only this but all cache and re-installed Condemned 2.

It still doesn't have cover.

I installed 2 games today, cover for another one, Too Human, appeared properly.

Cover art for Condemned 2 just appeared

Hope it will stay that way

If we can stay with cover for few more moments... and if can I say about two more things...

All covers are as they should be ( and I have 115 in My Games Menu ) - great arts from first editions - well except two of them: Gears of War 2 that is Platinum Hits version cover and Gears of War Judgment that is from US version of a game and from before
game was released, as I believe.

Could You change it to first editions, UK covers?

If that's too much, I totally get it, but if that's no big problem for You, maybe You can change that?

Anyway, thanx for fixing Condemned 2 cover and have a great weekend

Thanks for letting me know, Rafael! If the Condemned 2 box art stops showing up for you again, please do let me know. As for the other cover arts, I sent that to the appropriate teams and they informed me that those ones won't be able to be changed.

However, please do let us know if you see any other box art that doesn't show up! We want to make sure that's all good for you. :3

 

Look what You have done with game covers of:

American Nightmare, Beyond Good & Evil HD, Earthworm Jim HD, Jet Set Radio, Perfect Dark, Shadow Complex, Shank - all of these games have covers from Xbox Windows Phone: Kingdoms & Lords

and

Limbo that have cover from Xbox Windows Phone: Jetpack Joyride.

How You can release something like that without testing it ?!?!?!?!?!

F.E.A.R. Files and Fable Anniversary still have Xbox Live covers instead of their original ones.
