Game corrupted and not installing

    Game corrupted and not installing


    If I attempt to install cod mw 2 2022 it says that it's corrupted and to try uninstalling and reinstalling it and it's uninstalled but I can't install it (I'm on xbox one if that's relevant)

    Hi jkami88,

    Have you attempted to play any other games or install other games? Do you get any sort of disc read errors or installation errors with those games in particular?

    Sounds like the burn might have damaged the laser.

    try playing other games. If it works then its the laser or CD.

    This sounds like my old xbox. After a while it stopped reading discs.

    That's mighty confusing there.

    I would defiantly try reinstalling it on the HDD, or uninstall it from the HDD and try playing it with the pre-owned replacement disc and see how that works out.

    Also, I'm sure you have done this but make sure the new disc you bought is free from scratches. Same for your burned one.

    For anyone experiencing this if you install it in internal storage rather than a hard drive it seems to make it work
