Game code Not Working - try a different page?

today I bought an Xbox One S in the battlefield bundle and when I got home I tried to download the game using the code but got a message saying try using a different web page? Anyone know what they this means and how to fix this ? Thanks

Try a different game or app

everytime my wife attempts to start up fortnite today this message pops up while also saying 'Sorry, this one's no longer available'. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I disagree.....change is fine, but trying to make everything like COD ain't working.....thats just copying .....in previous installments, the BF series stood on its own and didn't try to be like the competition, it was different and made no apologies....now,
it seems they want to be COD....not that COD is a bad thing.....it is what it is, but it isn't Battlefield......now, as for the casual gamer vs. the MLG....they got websites for the latter....most "casual" gamers are working professionals who enjoy gaming
as a hobby.....fundamentally no different than watching a movie or television program

I had the exact same problem with Battlefield 1, so I was told to try this. Log into xbox.com with the account you are using to redeem the code, then type this into your address bar at the top or the bottom of your browser (I recommend Edge)

https://account.xbox.com/PaymentAndBilling/RedeemCode?doRedeem=0&token=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and replace the x's with your code. It's what I did and it worked for me.

Please go to account.xbox.com and make sure the "Country" in the bottom left corner matches the correct region for you.

After that use this URL: https://account.xbox.com/PaymentAndBilling/RedeemCode?doRedeem=0&token=#####-#####-#####-#####-##### where you replace the '#####-#####-#####-#####-#####' part with your code

Above was advice for redeeming a problematic code from last year. I've tried this and it doesn't work. I've also tried switching language and region which was suggested elsewhere but this doesn't work either. I have this problem with a brand new Xbox One
X and the Shadow of the Tomb Raider code. Bought it today from UK retailer Game. This does not work. Just gives the following message "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page." That is written in
red. Underneath this it says "Xbox. Please refer this code on your console." Trying to download it on the console directly doesn't work and trying through the web page doesn't work either. It's a 5x5 code included in the console box.

Please help..... It's driving me nuts! 😔

Might want to try a different phone number then. You have to enter the code in on the page to actually unblock the account.
