Game code dosnt work!

i bought a CoD Ghosts game code from a well known game site. I live in Sweden and this is from a US store. When i tryed to reedem the code it didnt work at all, got error message all the time. So i changed my region to US in Xbox and Xbox.com and got so
far that the xbox told me that the code is for 360. I have read online that it could happen with ghosts code and i need to reedem it on xbox.com, so i tryed that to and got error message:

Why cant i reedem a game code that i bought? Isnt the games region free? I cant buy the code in sweden wish i would prefer.
Am i not aloud to buy games from another country?

I'm sorry but we here on the forums can't fully assist you with the code as we don't have any tools to check it. I would suggest contacting support so they could validate the code you received to know what might be the problem with the code. Support can
check it using there tools. But if the code is really invalid when they tried it on there tools. They might suggest you to contact the online retailer where you bought it to get a replacement. Since its not bought from Xbox, they can't replace the code.

I bought a 20eur card from a site but was divided in two different codes one of 15 and one of 5 the 15 eur Works but the 5 says something went wrong please try again later i've been trying it since yesterday and also tryd xbox.com/errorhelp but that doesnt
work either if anyone could help me that would be great.

 

Sorry to hear it. If you got a 360 code instead of one for the One then you should contact the retailer for more assistance.

You should also be aware that not all codes for games can be downloaded outside of a country that they were originally meant for. This means that although you may be able to purchase a code from the US your IP address may still block the download due to
region issues.
