    Game closes at startup HELP!


    Hello

    Last week buy through the Windows store Gears of War 4. Once downloaded, try to play it but I find it impossible. Start the game, the logo appears and after the screen goes black it closes without any explanation.

    The characteristics of my pc:

    AMD FX 6300

    8GB RAM

    Nvidia GTX 960 4GB (Driver version 385.41)





    I honestly do not know what else to try.

    Startup errors and freezing and saved games issues

    I startup my Xbox and play a game for 5-10 minutes and then it the game freezes. So I close the game and it says "there was a problem with your saved games" and it directs me to settings. I click 'go to settings', then an error comes up that says 'settings
    took too long to start' then the home screen crashes. So I do the powercycle and then startup errors

    -E105 00000000 8007045D

    -E106 00000002 8007045D

    come up and it directs me to the startup error website but the startup errors I have aren't listed in the list of startup errors. So I am confused.

    I've tried:

    -offline system update

    -reset to factory defaults (which it froze on the country select page)

    -clearing my saved games (didn't help)

    -unplugging and plugging it back in

    Help....

    Ark Windows 10 play anywhere, crashes after a few seconds

    So I just downloaded Ark onto my computer, I had originally bought a digital copy on xboxone. Each time I start the game up I can get to and start a local save but after a few moments of loading the game closes completely. It will close after a few moments
    even just waiting at the startup screen. My wife very much so wants to play on her new pc so any help would be appreciated.

    I deleted those files that were in that folder and then I disconected from the internet, opened the game and when it got to to the 2nd startup screen it closed.

    You can try disabling startup program in the task manager to see if that improves the performance:
    Open task manager > select the startup tab > disable all the programs listed there temporarily

    Restart the PC and check the game.

    Also, sometimes helps closing background processes and apps opened in your PC
    Basically close all the apps and leave the game open

    If the issue performance is the same.
    in that case is your current hardware the one that isn't capable to run the game

    Hello Zabookiller!

    Sorry you are having issues with your game, there are multiple solutions for this issue. First, as Jurgen was saying a power-cycle for your console is the best way to start: Hold the power button for 8 seconds or until the console shuts off.

    Be sure to reply if this doesn't work :)
