    Game clips missing


    I just had a problem where game clips went missing. First off, I would like to say that my xbox live storage ran out so the game clips I made were on my xbox. I had no problems until I tried to find some game clips but all that was left were pictures. Everything
    was fine with the clips in my xbox live but most of the ones in the xbox were missing. I am wondering if I could get the missing game clips back. If anyone knows what happened please let me know.

    when you download clips to your computer the tags are missing in the clips

    Xbox.com - Game clips

    Hi,

    Last few days seem to be missing game clips on my profile page on xbox.com. Appearing fine on smartglass and viewing friends profiles i can see clips. Anyone seeing this issue at all?

    Game clips missing

    If you don't mark them as save then they delete when you run out of space. That may have happened.

    My xbox is missing the record gameplay with game dvr option. I still can record clips but there's no option to save the clips that option is gone to? Tryed restoring but no joy. Even got the latest update.

    Hi Thrillerkill3r

    Unfortunately once there deleted they are gone for good.

    For the future i would recommend backing up your clips to the Microsoft Onedrive. That way if you accidentally delete any clips or screenshots from your xbox console they will still be safe in the Onedrive.

    You can also download the Onedrive for your xbox so you can view what stored in it right from your xbox console.

    Its also available for Most mobile devices to make sharing your clips to other social media and friends easier too.

    This very thing happened to me about a year ago, so now as
    Gary C 86    advised I use OneDrive for all clips and shots I want to keep or transfer to my other devices.
