Game Clips Auto Deleting Without Warning.........

You began auto deleting our clips at the beginning of April without notification via email nor did you warn us of an expiration date on our clips, if you are going to force content to auto delete from our HARD DRIVES you should have it labeled with a timer/expiration
date. Plus give us time to transfer; & extra time on top of that because when you try to upload multiple clips to One Drive from the Xbox only some of the clips successfully transfer, my gamertag is iN8k just to clarify.

1: You guys never informed us of Game Clips Automatically Expiring.

2: I contacted & asked how long game clips last, nobody knows, but in a future update we`ll be able to disable the automatic deletion feature according to a chat representative

3: You guys never told me when I bought my Xbox that I`d be limited on game clips storage/usage. (I bought the larger 1TB Hard Drive for a reason...)

4: When I try to upload multiple clips to One Drive only some of them actually transfer. Example: I tried to upload 50 at once & only 21 appeared, I tried to upload 5 at once & only 2 appeared, I tried to upload 10 & only 4 appeared.

5: My clips began deleting without me even being informed nor did I know it was going to happen, I reported it on 4/5 when I noticed A LOT of footage disappeared from Mid January to March 17th... Now the clips have been continuing to delete: March 18th, March
19th, 20th, 21st & 22nd have all been wiped of game clips... So I`m missing 3 months worth of footage.. approximately 200-400 game clips, GONE.

6: I wouldn`t mind it so much if I had time to transfer the files ; If I was informed that MY files were going to auto delete; & most of all, I need to be able to transfer the files to Xbox Live or One Drive & for some odd reason when I checkmark multiple boxes
& transfer them to the One Drive it only partially works & randomizes the clips confusing me & forcing me to restart the process, but then I`m forced into thinking I have to upload 259 clips individually... That`s not gunna happen.

Saving clips

Before this last update, I was able to go into my Game DVR and save my clips in order to keep them from auto deleting. Now, I don't seem to find the option to do so. Is saving not a thing anymore??

Canceling an update of a game will accidentally uninstall it!

If you cancel an update... and clear the update queue... that will auto delete the entire game without warning...

Not okay.

This is an extreme bug.

Please separate these things.

Have you tired using an external hard drive and following
this? That way you can move them all to your computer whenever you want for editing and sharing!

Throughout this entire issue I was FORCED to buy an External Hard Drive but that doesn`t explain 200-400 missing game clips. (2 months worth)

If these are clips you've uploaded long ago, then the online storage may have deleted them itself without warning. This could just be because of low storage issues. I had the same happen to me. Try deleteing some so this doesent happen again, or be sure
to keep a copy on your console from now on. Wish there was a warning though.

Yes, after 30 days if they have no views on them, they will automatically delete as well. Same for the ones uploaded on Xbox Live, and also if you have reached capacity for storage of captures on Xbox Live, it will delete the oldest ones first to make
room for the new ones uploaded.

Yes, in fact I have noticed this, I have lost two screenshots and two video clips. The only ones I lost though were fortnite ones. Come to find out this is still intellectual property of Epic games and Unreal Engine. The screenshots I had happened to be
the same ones that are put into vinyl prints and are for sale on the fortnite website. Also two of my videos had to do with limited-time play modes, so therefore I believe they were deleted due to the fact that they are intellectual property right protected.
