Yes, after 30 days if they have no views on them, they will automatically delete as well. Same for the ones uploaded on Xbox Live, and also if you have reached capacity for storage of captures on Xbox Live, it will delete the oldest ones first to make
room for the new ones uploaded.

Yes, in fact I have noticed this, I have lost two screenshots and two video clips. The only ones I lost though were fortnite ones. Come to find out this is still intellectual property of Epic games and Unreal Engine. The screenshots I had happened to be
the same ones that are put into vinyl prints and are for sale on the fortnite website. Also two of my videos had to do with limited-time play modes, so therefore I believe they were deleted due to the fact that they are intellectual property right protected.

I know what you mean... But things evolved and players are saving more and more clips, so I think they setted by default to delete after a period; but, maybe, you could change this setting

I had a video of me destroying two tanks with one shell on World Of Tanks which I lost because of the autodelete.

In addition to the posts here, Xbox Game DVR only retains the last 200 items combined - if you are close to the limit, a message usually appears, warning you to choose what you do with the content. Oldest items will be automatically deleted, the more you
create.
