    Hello Xbox Support Community,

    I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out today because I have encountered an issue with my Samsung TV's cloud gaming feature and my Elite Series 2 controller. While I am able to successfully connect and play games, I'm facing a problem when it comes to participating in party chat. Specifically, I can listen to others, but I'm unable to communicate with them using my AirPods Pro as the audio input. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or advice you can provide to help resolve this issue.

    To provide some context, here are the details of my setup:

    1. Samsung TV: I own a Samsung TV that supports cloud gaming. I have been able to connect and play games without any problems using my Elite Series 2 controller.
    2. Elite Series 2 Controller: I have an Elite Series 2 controller, which I successfully paired with my Samsung TV. The controller functions perfectly for gameplay, and I have no issues with the buttons or joysticks.
    3. AirPods Pro: I use AirPods Pro as my audio output device for a more immersive gaming experience. The AirPods work flawlessly for audio playback, allowing me to hear game audio and other players' voices

    Unfortunately this option is not currently available for TVs. I share with you the official information that was extracted from this website:

    "Note: Microphone output isn’t currently supported when cloud gaming via the Xbox app on a smart TV. A fix is coming soon. You can still use your headset to hear game and chat audio."

    cloud gaming fortnite mic problem

    He’s saying he is trying to “game” chat through fortnite and not “party” chat through Xbox, probably because his friends use a different console than Xbox. I have the same issue. Only on fortnite can I not use game chat with cloud gaming. It’s beta. The perfect excuse to not work. Lol

    Just to confirm, are you currently subscribed to an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription? Please check your account subscription page via https://account.microsoft.com/services to confirm that.

    It’s required to have an Ultimate subscription to use cloud gaming.

    To start a party when cloud gaming from the Xbox app for Windows:
    Press Windows logo key + G on your keyboard or press the Xbox button on your controller to open Xbox Game Bar.
    Select Widget Menu > Xbox Chat > Start a party.
    Select Add someone and then choose the friends you want to invite.
