    Game chat not working


    Having an issue with in game chat now working.

    The issue wont allow me to chat in game but I can hear the chat, this happens in both DayZ and MWII.

    I believe this is something to do with content but have watched all videos and removed all restrictions

    Example the profanity filter is "temporarily unavailable" in MWII and greyed our, not allowing it to be opened, also several other social features are blocked. For the audio I also got the message "voice service unavailable".

    The microphone works fine in discord so it definitely linked to in game chat IMO.

    Any help is much appreciated as it's driving me nuts!

    I realize my Xbox day one edition controller doesn't work with the headset. But when plugged into the second controller bought at game stop it works on there. Also when I hit the down button on the D pad it makes a loud spring sound.

    Make sure you have game chat is on becuase people can hear you but not them or it may even be a settings in your xbox. Just a couple things to check.

    mine is the opposite I can hear people but my mic wont light up at all, yes mute is off and in party party is turned on i dunno...

    That happened to me. My NAT was strict go to network settings and see if ur NAT is open or strict then troubleshoot by testing multiplayer connection after test hold both triggers and bumbers then wait for it to show NAT info
