Game chat audio not included in recordings

It used to work like 4 years ago i don't know why it doesn't work anymore

This makes absolutely no sense I'm glad I bought a next-gen console that doesn't have next-gen features guess I should go buy more stuff, wait I can just get a PS5 and it comes with all this stuff right? Please answer

Xbox clips don't record voice/game chat currently. You can record the voice on a different device and then add it to your gameplay, or stream the content trough twitch. You can also use a capture card.

But if you don't have any equipment, only the Xbox recording feature will not record the game chat/party voice.

I understand that. The thing that I don't understand is Why the lastest generation of console does not include the voice chat and mic in the clips. Why do we need yo buy other studf to do something so simple to include.

Why does it seem like Xbox one had better recording capabilities? Isn’t next gen supposed to surpass the older tech?
