Game Captures that I cannot find or delete

Discus and support Game Captures that I cannot find or delete in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So according to my Xbox One Dashboard I have 96 unshared items in my Captures.     Game Captures that I cannot find or delete


    So according to my Xbox One Dashboard I have 96 unshared items in my Captures. I have looked and indeed there are 96 items there. But I cannot find them anywhere to delete them on my Xbox One. I accessed the upload studio and everything and there is nothing
    there to be found, so where exactly are these captures at? Also some of them are apparently from PC titles I have played, I googled where to find them on the PC and it also claims there are no files to be found there. So where exactly are these files so
    that I can delete them?

    Can't access or delete clips or screenshots

    I cannot view recent game capture or go delete old captures in Upload Studio. I've tried on both xbx1 and thru windows 10 app. Also when I take a capture it says it is uploading but to where? Everything worked fine till about 2pm on 12/5

    Deleting Screen Captures

    I was playing one of my games and took several screen captures that I want to remove from my feed. I went to my captures and can see all the thumbnails and I can see you can click the heart to like, add a comment or title and there is a trash can that says
    delete. However when I click on the trash can it just goes back where I can see all my screen captures and does not delete it. Help Game Captures that I cannot find or delete :)

    Screen Captures will not delete from Xbox One S. Have tried everything

    I have the app open but I cannot find Game DVR. I have captures on the left hand side in the menu but I already tried deleting from there and it doesn't work

    Hey there! So, unfortanetely, these cannot be turned off, but they are deleted after 30 days! If for some reason they arent deleting after 30 days, plesse follow these steps!

    settings > preferences > Broadcast & Capture > Automatically Upload > Captures by me

    in there should be your fix to turn on auto delete after 30 days! :)

    I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your game captures, especially those memories with your friend.

    Microsoft implemented a policy starting September 27, 2023, where game captures stored on the Xbox network are deleted after 90 days. Unfortunately, once these captures are deleted from the Xbox network, they cannot be recovered.

    Sorry for the inconvenience..

    Have you checked the local storage of your console ? If they were stored on your console, they might be still there. Locally stored clips are not affected by the 90-day deletion policy.

    So, it sounds like you are looking for locally stored captures? I thought captures uploaded to the cloud and then deleted from the local storage pretty quickly.

    Are you seeing what you expect to find in local storage on Xbox Live as well?
