    Game Captures show up in Xbox, but not in Windows App


    I decided to record one of my recent Call of Duty matches to show off a class. So, I used the capture feature on my Xbox. I looked in the Recent Captures menu and looked over my recording, to make sure that the recording was a good quality (it was). I then
    went to my computer, with the Xbox App, so that I could take the recording and edit it into a video. However, the recording wasn't there. The capture showed up on the actual Xbox, but not the Xbox App.

    How can I see and access my game recordings on my computer?

    Hello, I took a screenshot in minecraft windows 10 edition in the screenshot doesn't show up in the xbox app to be able to share it. but I can see the screenshot in the "captures" folder. so im not sure how to make it show up in xbox app when other screenshots

    Xbox One Custom Captures (Xbox Beta)

    I've been using the Xbox Beta app on windows 10, one of the many features is to upload custom pictures/captures so I decided to upload a capture of Black Ops 3. For whatever reason is does not show up in my console captures but when I click manage captures
    they pop up, but I am unable to share them with anyone, a error message keeps popping up saying 'Sorry, you are unable to share this at this time.' Can somebody please help?

    Sorry to hear about your game capture issues. Do these clips show up if you go into the Xbox console companion app on windows?

    Specifically, when you open the app, select the Capture button along the left bar. Using the filters at the top, select "On Xbox Live" and "By Game"

    This should allow you to scroll down to the mentioned game pages and find the captures. Keep in mind that game names are based on what the publisher asked for so Splinter Cell might be Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Stick of Truth might be SouthPark: Stick of Truth. You can delete and scrub your captures from within this app as well.

    Press Win + G to open Xbox Game Bar, then select Widget Menu > Gallery.

    To share a game clip or screenshot, select Open in File Explorer, then use your app of choice to share your capture.

    Note Game Bar only shows captures that are saved locally on the Windows device you’re using. Captures uploaded to Xbox are viewable and shareable only in the Xbox mobile app.

    my point was since xbox game bar is capable of screen capture can I just have it capture my screen i.e. just as a screen capture to show for instance where saves and files are or just screen capture on windows explorer to show where to move files...
    etc not just for games
