Game capture time decreased

When I purchased my current series x, as well as when I had my original Xbox one, I was able to record a 1080p game capture for a maximum length of 2 minutes. That option is no longer available, but I have clips less than a month old that are longer than 2 minutes. There is no reason on the top tier console shouldn't be able to do what the 7/8 year old one could. Is this a pathetically lazy bug or an attempt to deceive paying customers?

Power cycling is useless. Complete factory reset is useless. Xbox support chat is useless. Already tried each one. It is a software issue, where Xbox has changed the menu on the Xbox series x so that the "record what happened" feature, usedbto record previous gameplay, can only record 1 minute of previous gameplay. My original Xbox One from a decade ago can record previous gameplay of the same quality for up to 2 minutes.

That's strange, as far as I know the 2 minutes at 1080p are available

May I know which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this?
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

In the meantime try power cycling your console

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Thanks for the reply, I was double checking this on my Xbox console

It seems that the time was reduced to 1 min now, I also remember to have the 2 minutes limit.

In case there's a problem with the latest firmware, right now the best option will be report this to Xbox team:

I agree. The number of games allowed should be increased or the resignation time decreased.

What are you blabbering on about?

Increasing boot time means the boot time is longer.

Decreasing boot time means the boot time is shorter.

An SSD will make boot time shorter, hence it decreases boot time.

Game capture time decreased
