Game capture not recording full length

    Game capture not recording full length


    I have my captures set to 720 P and when I go to record three minutes or five minutes of my gameplay while I’m still in the game something happens and it causes the game the only record 10 seconds or 17 seconds or some random number and I lose all of my
    good captures how can I fix this so that it never happens again?

    Hi you can actually increase te record length of 1080p if you save the game captures to an external hard drive. However it cannot be a drive that you also use to save games to. It needs to be formatted as NTFS and not prepared as an internal drive. You
    will then be able to save game captures to it and increase the length of the captures.

    Xbox Capture: Only recording the first 5 seconds

    try changing the length in capture and share go to capture settings and you can set how long you want to record

    DVR Capture Issue: Not Recording Full Length Clips

    Have you tried any of the
    troubleshooting here?     The first step is a power cycle of the console,. which may fix the issue you are having.

    If it doesn't, does setting the timer to '5 minutes' BEFORE starting the game (and then recording a clip, rather than leaving the game to change the timer and come back) fix the issue for you?
