    Game captures are terrible.

Xbox series x. There is so much documentation about this issue, no-one has a solution (apart from streaming on twitch, saving the vod and then editing the video). Compared with my xbox one captures, taken well over a year ago, they are awful, choppy, stuttering messes. This is not a problem on my end, this is a problem with the xbox series x capture system. The fact captures are STILL terrible is a joke, given the series x was released over 18 months ago.

    Stream on xbox one x

Yes, it's possible to stream with an Xbox One X and use a capture card.

I don't have any experience with the capture cards, so I can't answer your question about streaming and hearing your teammate on the PS4. I just know capture cards can be used with the Xbox One X.

Hello Thank you for reaching out to us I have found a reason by behind why this could be happening.

In most cases, capturing allows the creation of clips up to 5 minutes in length. At times, you may find that your clip is shorter than anticipated. There are a few reasons why this may happen:

    • Time spent outside the game is removed from the clip. For example, if you back out of the game to the Home screen while recording, the time on the Home screen will not make it into the clip.
    • Publishers may disable the recording of certain game segments for several reasons that may include, but are not limited to:
      • Potential game spoilers
      • Views of a player or players in the game seen through their Kinect
    • Capturing records clips at 720p, 30 frames per second. For most games, this resolution will allow a clip of approximately 5 minutes. Clips with significant graphic intensity or action may be shorter, as duration is sacrificed to maintain a high-quality
      recording.

    Troubleshooting

If you're still having trouble, try the following solutions.

Solution 1: Power cycle your console

Power cycling your console may clear up the issue. If it doesn't, try the next solution.

Solution 2: Make sure capturing is enabled

To make sure Game DVR is enabled on your Xbox One console:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > Preferences.
    3. Under Broadcast & capture, make sure that Allow game captures is checked.
Solution 3: Use both of the previous solutions

The following procedure has also been known to resolve the issue:

    1. Follow the steps in Solution 2 but uncheck Allow game captures.
    2. Power cycle your console.
    3. Follow the steps in Solution 2 and check Allow game captures.
    Solution 4: Delete older clips

The issue may be related to a lack of space in your cloud storage. Try deleting some of your older clips to make space:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Go to Broadcast & capture, and then select Capture.
    3. Select Manage captures.
    4. Select On Xbox Live in the first dropdown box.
    5. Select the clip you want to delete.
    6. Select Delete, and then Yes to confirm.
When you’ve maxed out your allotted storage capacity for game clip content, you’ll be notified with the message Delete some of your captures. To upload more, remove some captures from Xbox Live.

When you’ve reached 90% or more of your allotted storage capacity for game clip content, you’ll see a message in the Manage captures screen. Follow these steps to see if you’re near your allotted capacity:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Go to Broadcast & capture, and then select Capture.
    3. Select Manage captures.
    4. If you’re near your allotted capacity for game clip content, you’ll see the message Your Xbox Live storage is filling up. If you run out of space, delete some captures to upload more.
