Game Capture - Clip doesn't created

Hi everyone, I have an xbox x series connected to a 4k HDR tv. The problem that occurs is related to the game clips from the option record what happened. The recording settings are in 720p 3 minutes, saving on internal memory. When I start recording, the save notification appears on the screen but the clip is not recorded.

I tried to reset the console and to do the various reset procedures with the xbox phone support but I could not solve the problem. Let's say out of ten times, nine times it doesn't create the clip and also when it creates it I have problems with flickering, lag and lack of audio.

Does anyone have the same problem as me and know how I can try to fix it?

Hello P0kahontas, have checked how much free space you have on your Xbox, regardless of the size it will always prioritize the space for games and the temporary files of games you are playing.

As you've made all possible resets and the problem continues, try putting an external hard drive on Xbox, USB 3.0 and leave it only for media, so you direct all the captures to it.

Note: it can't be a stick drive (USB stick) because it doesn't have enough speed for reading and writing.

By default, the video clips that you captured are saved to the Captures folder which is located in the Videos folder. Regarding your concern, it is possible that the video clips weren't captured successfully that's why it doesn't show up on the Captures
folder. Can you tell us if you're getting the same issue if you record another game clips on your game? Also, is your Windows 10 updated?

Same problem. I can clip other games, but Fortnite only capturing a still not video. Audi is there, a still capture, but no video. I've repaired and reset game bar, still doesn't work.

I agree, I would love to see these options given to Xbox in our screenshots and game clips. Some games are just so beautiful and it feels at times that when I make captures, it doesn't fully capture that.

Just tried on a separate account. I created a 22 second clip and then opened game DVR. Got the same error message on the other account:

"Capture Not Saved

Sorry, the capture you selected was not saved. Please try again."
