    (GAME BREAKING ISSUE) Xbox 360 controller activates randomly during game


    Somehow the rt button keeps activating during a game

    rt activates without me pressing it and for some reason it disables l3

    So I'll be playing metal gear solid

    And the inventory randomly comes up and I'll be walking so it will change my weapon

    It's gotten me caught/killed a few dozen times

    For the first hour I do this the controller doesn't do it

    At first I thought my controller was broken but I bought a new one and it does the same thing so I figure it's a firmware issue

    Please help me fix this

    How can this be solved?

    xbox one controller disconnects???

    Having the same issue. So frustrating to have your controller randomly disconnect during games.

    Recently my wireless xbox 360 controller has been randomly disconnecting

    during games and such (with new batteries) so was wondering if anyone knew

    why.

    Hi there,

    please try the following in the exact steps:

    1. Clear the console cache, see this link for the how to:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

    2. Power the console down and when fully powered off, disconnect the console from power for at least two minutes.

    3. After those 2 minutes power the console back up again, to see if this issue has been resolved.

    If this didn't help, please let us know the following:

    - Does this happen with every game?

    - What happens when you try the game with a different profile, to see if it does the same thing.

    Let us know the results

    Thanks for the help but it didn't answer my question

    Tried it and didn't work

    It may be a crappy hard drive I'm gonna move my save to the hard drive on the Xbox

    It does happen with every game but different results kinda

    Did you try to see what happens when you try it with a different profile/Xbox Live account?

    To determine if it's profile related or not.

    Also try to see what happens when using your profile, savegame and controller on a different xbox 360 console

    Hmm ive looked into these but it seems it's the console

    Is there any way to reset the system of sorts.

    Gonna try the original hard drive right now

    Xbox one crashing

    Same problems here!

    playing Batman Arkham Knight, Metal gear, GTA5 etc: See list of issues

    - Randomly game freezes multiple times during play. Only shutdown and restart solves the problem temporarly.

    - Loses connection with XBOX live. Doesn't make a difference if i use a networkcabel or wifi. No problem with xbox 360.

    - Loses connection with Elite Controller randomly. Get the message i have to reconnect my controller. Did this a 1000 times during the game, grrrrrrr

    Xbox one has a lot of problems compared to the 360. Everyting was and still is woriking fine on my 360.
