Game Bar not working

    Game Bar not working


    For the past few months the xbox game bar has not been working, when I press the shortcut or open through the start menu, nothing happens. Task manager says it's open as a background process, it stays like that for a few minutes without actually opening and then closes.

    I've tried the repair and the reset available in the app settings (These 2):

    If you need some sort of log, let me know how to access it so I can post it, otherwise I've tried just about everything I could find, is there any way to fix this or did it just die for no apparent reason?

    check for updates under windows store, if not uninstall gamebar and install from the store.

    LFG Crashing when I try to post

    Hi Team,

    When I try to post on LFG using the XBox Game Bar, the game bar crashes.

    But if I join other people's LFG, it works fine without crashing.

    Help would be appreciated.
    Update: I reinstalled the Xbox Game Bar (using
    this article    ) and now it works! Thanks for all the help!

    hello,

    ms-settings:appsfeatures doesnt bring up any options to reset game bar.

    the mic works fine when game bar isnt in background.

    game bar isnt listed in apps and yet searching in store shows game bar as installed.
