Game Bar does not work properly - error 0xC00D4A45

I am trying to use game bar to record some lecture for later review. I can click the button and the side bar shows it is recording but after I click stop, "recording is not working error code 0xC00D4A45" flashes up. There will not be any file stored in the default folder.

I can record image though and it will be stored in the folder but just not videos.

How can I fix the problem?

Please, follow these steps to uninstall the XBOX App from your PC:

1) Click Start, type Powershell and run as administrator.

2) Copy the commands below and paste them (individually) on the Powershell window.

Get-AppxPackage *Xbox* | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

After uninstalling the app, try running a cleaner application to fully remove all the files.

CCleaner is a very good option, but choose the one you are most comfortable with.

Then, restart your computer, then install the XBOX app, and try again.

No, none. You really won't listen.

It is not a connection issue. It is an issue where GAME BAR does not properly resolve the steam link. This is a game bar issue, probably in the registry. Unlike my former windows 10 machine, there is no xboxlive registry entry for sea of thieves, and I do not know why this is.

The accounts are linked. The game works. The game bar works. Everything works, except this message pops up when I try to use game bar to join game or accept an invite. I can play Sea of Thieves online via xbox services on steam. THAT WORKS. But the game bar does not resolve join/accept protocols properly.

If you are not equipped to troubleshoot this level of technical issue, GET SOMEONE ELSE!

PS. on windows 11 support for Xbox Console Companion is ending THIS MONTH. It is already delisted from the main store. Everything connection wise is fine and you keep insisting it is a connection issue.

Could Game Bar cause the issue? I noticed my Game Bar is not working properly. I tried reset it but still nothing happens when I launch it

I found the issue, it was using fast v-sync through the nvidia control pannel and manage 3d settings.
