Game bar captures are laggy

    Game bar captures are laggy


    Sometimes, not all the time, my captures are unwatchably laggy (<1fps), and I don't know how to fix it. The problem isn't the captures themselves though because I've watched the same video multiple times and sometimes its fine, sometimes its unwatchable.
    This only happens when I use the record last 30 seconds feature.

    the screen in the background of the game went blank so i can not see what i am doing..it happened whil i was capturing it..how do i get it back to normal

    Are you using xbox game bar to capture or another software ?

    You're on Windows 10 and trying to use the Game Bar to capture content from your Java IDE? The game bar, I think, has to have the app set as a game.

    Not sure, but I'd check this page to see if you can set it. I think there are some restrictions as to what Game Bar will capture, and I'm not sure your IDE will be allowed to be captured.

    I could be wrong on those limitations, I can't find any documentation, but I remember reading that there were some restrictions.
