Game audio through headset on One S

I recently got a monitor for my xbox one S instead of buying a new tv since we had about 8 already, but i was wondering how to a. Connect a bluetooth speaker using wires ect. Or B. Get game audio through my head set

I just now figured this out. The audio plug from the x12's that you plug into the audio cable slot? (Red and white). Dont do that. Just plug the headset's audio cable (green) into the system its self and you can hear the game through your headset

You can plug a standard headset into your controller to get sound. You can even get Dolby Atmos for headphones to jazz it up a bit.

The chat headset is designed to only give you chat audio, and leave game audio coming through your television.

Any other headset will give you both game and chat audio through the headset, whether you use the new controller or the older version with the headset adapter.

The Xbox One headset is used for voice audio only. You shouldn't be getting any game audio through it. If you are referring to a third party headset please contact the manufacturers customer support.
