    Game Audio gets lower when I join a party


    My audio seems to mess up when I join a party. Starting a few days ago, mine and a couple of my friends game audio will suddenly get quieter than normal. I know this because I normally have two setting for my headset mixer, one for games that dont require
    audio that much and ones that do. Even on the setting for games I use audio on, and even with my settings the same as they have always been, it is quieter. My chat audio is exactly the same as it has always been, but the game audio gets softer when I join
    a party. This is something that multiple friends have commented on just starting to happen.

    please check the settings on the console here to change the balance between Chat and Game audio, to see if that helps in sorting the issue:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select Display & sound.
    5. Select Volume.
    6. Select Chat mixer.
    7. Select one of the available options.

    To be sure we understand, none of the chat settings alter the audio in any way?

    Does this happen with every game you own or just Fortnite and PUBG?
