Game audio for Turtle Beach Recon 50x Gaming headset not working

I had recently purchased my Turtle Beach Recon 50x Gaming headphones. Everything worked fine until all of a sudden, the game audio stopped working.

Usually, there are 3 settings for the headset, (Mic volume, Headset volume, and game to party ratio). However, now the option for the game to party ratio has disappeared and I no longer hear the game audio and I only hear game chats or parties. it is
not a problem with the headphones as I tested them on other devices and they worked perfectly fine. It is also not a problem with the controller as I recently purchased a new one.



I've watched countless videos and none of them seem to work. If you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Can't be heard in xbox chat

I was using the Tritton Kama headset and then yesterday I purchased the Turtle Beach Recon 50x headset and they didn't work. Yes I did try to reset my network.

 

my sound cuts out on my headset

my turtle beach ear force recon 50X headset has been cutting out recently and i unplug it and plug it back and it works for a few seconds and turns off againin to my xbox one controller

 

Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.


If that doesn't work the best thing to do would be to test with another controller. A new controller doesn't necessarily mean that it is in working order.
