Game and party invites won't work

    Game and party invites won't work


    Hey,

    So for a couple months now I have been playing the Xbox one and I seem to not be getting party or game invites from people who aren't my friends. When we add each other it fixes. I also hard restart my console with turning off and on notifications and that
    will allow me to get invites for 10minutes.

    I have no parental settings enabled and have no idea how to fix it permanently.

    My invites to party and game are not working but my message will get through

    hi Xbox I am having an issue with my Xbox. My notifications won't work for game invites or party invites and it is really frustrating me because I can't play with friends please tell me how to fix this

    "Invite party to game" not sending invites.

    When I invite the players in my party to my game via the party tab, the invites won't send unless I spam invite about three times.

    I have restarted my console and have done a hard reset/reboot as well and it still does this.

    My Son's xbox one console is having issues it worked just fine yesterday and now it won't let him send invites or get invites, play games, or see what his friends are saying it won't let him join parties. And this all started after the update and I had
    to put his account back on his xbox as well.

    Are you part of the Xbox Insider Preview program?
    Yeah, I'm the Alpha Skip-Ahead preview. I reported it. That might be the problem.

    I am having the same problem. I have to ask my friends to switch the party to public from invite only to let me join. I checked all privacy settings and they look good. I do get sign in notifications and messages.

    Hey there!

    This may have been related to a service alert up yesterday, are you still experiencing this issue? If so, power cycle your Xbox One console by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
