I love the X1, it just takes me some time to warm up to new systems. Keeping that in mind, I kinda think you should kinda ditch the Win 8 format, fix the bugs, fix new catagory of Cops season because it won't load in my library, gamerpic marketplace, themes
as well. Also a Capcom Monster Hunter exclusive would rule with an old Japan only release reboot of an MH title for XBLA 1, like MH G or MH 2 G or something new yet old. I've had faith that X1 is the best choice since the beginning and I still do.

OS and bundled game language

You can set the console language to English but games depend on the games themselves.The majority of games have language options now so you should be able to set them to English.

Not played GOW in years so can't remember if you can with them of not but I would think so as it's such a big franchise.

I live in Switzerland and therefore would like to order the Xbox One S from the Swiss online shop. In such case would I be able to set the Xbox OS to English and also the Game which is in the bundle (Gears of War)?

If the above is not possible, can I order it from UK online shop and get it delivered to Switzerland?

 

Very unlikely that they would ditch the Win 8-style when they've just seen a whole lot of effort to basically rebrand everything to it

 

I don't mind the Windows style dashboard, took me a while to get use to it.

Personally though I just find it too fiddly and slow to use sometimes, one example, playing a game, a friend sends you a message asking for a party invite, now if your in-game it can be a pain in the backside to do.

Early days yet, I'm sure with a few updates/tweaks it will smooth out as they say.

Although it was sometimes annoying that a friends profile would pop up if you were simply trying to open the guide and they logged in at the same time, I quite liked the idea that the notification in question would open with a simple tap of the guide button.

I personally feel that the guide was one of the best OS features from the 360 and although change is nice, some things should just be left as they were and the simple mini-dash was one of those things.

 

OP, I think you need to go look up the FEEDBACK section of the Xbox Forums. As it's been said that NO ONE at Microsoft even looks at this section.

 

I like the new dash,its alot cleaner,but there sholud be an option to have friends coming online as an on/off notification for those that want it,and party invites should be an accept via smartglass,would sort it right out.
