Game add-ons share via My Home Console

Just a friendly reminder though that not all add-ons or DLC can be shared, it depends on the game developer.

Ask your friend to perform a power cycle then make sure that your account is set as Home Xbox.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

on the Xbox One an account can share his digital purchased games and subscriptions via the Home console setting on the primary console, which will allow other accounts on that console to those items (Like Xbox Live Gold).

If this is on the Xbox 360, then I'm afraid each account will require their own Xbox Live Gold subscription

I like to add that a child account that is part of a family will Not automatically have access to subscriptions and games owned by a parent account. These items can only be shared via the Home console setting on the Xbox One console.

Sharing is only an option on the Xbox One console, via the "My Home Xbox" feature

Currently the only way to share games is via the Home setting on your console. Anyone who uses your Home console can share your games/gold. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/my-home-xbox

You can share gold via the Home setting https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox However, you can still
only share on 1 console at a time so you would need at least 2 subscriptions for 4 consoles depending on how they're being used.

So for example, if you have gold on your account, you can set the 2nd console as your Home and one of the children can use that console and access your gold/games while you can still sign into your console and use your gold/games while signed in. You would
add gold to one of the children's accounts and they would set another console as their Home, then sign in and use the other non-Home console.
