    Game add-ons not loading


    I have a 8TB external drive where i install all my Xbox one games and add-ons and i recently restored my Xbox to factory settings.

    The problem I'm having now is that none of the add-ons for any of my games are loading up, in most cases I'll have to uninstall that add-on and reinstall it for it to work and when you have over 260 games, uninstalling and reinstall all of the add-ons is
    really not practical.

    An example was with Rise of The Tomb Raider, even tho Endurance Mode was install it just wouldn't show up and i had to uninstall and reinstall it for it to register and work. Another example was the Witcher 3, it wouldn't recognise any of the add-ons were
    installed.

    Can any one help me with this?

    same i dont know why it's doing that to me!!!

    and i got 2 other add-ons not loading help!!!!

    the 2 add-ons are psycho pack and blood harvest

    Skyrim

    Im having problems installing Dawnguard for Skyrim I check to see if I have it downloaded and I do when I go to start Skyrim it says loading add ons when I check my add-ons it says no add-ons downloaded. (btw I have skyrim saved to my xbox and not
    have it on a disc also it came with a bundle so Im not sure if I can re-download it without having to buy it again

    Unfortunately, with you resetting the xbox it is throwing off where the content was tied to. I had the same issue with my 4Tb Seagate external and I had to transfer all of my files over again from the uninstalled apps/games section of My Games and Apps.
    I wasn't able to find another faster way of doing it. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'd just set your games and add-on's to install while your out or at work and they should have made some good progress in the by the time you get back.

    Insert skyrim and go to add-on's

    Load up the game then go to the add-ons section.

    Can you buy a physical copy of a game for Xbox1 and download a addon for it on the Microsoft Store?

    Do you have the physical copy in your possession? If so load it into your Xbox and should be good to go for add-ons.

    If you do not yet have the game, it may not allow you to get add-ons for it until you have the game loaded.

    Do Game Add-ons work without the game disc. For example can I play Joe's adventures without the Mafia II disc in my xbox 360?

    No the game disc that the add-ons belong too must be loaded up.
