    Game Add-ons do not work


    I have a constant issue with game add-ons not showing / working. My new xbox one came with Forza4 / Lego Speed Champions and even though Lego Speed Champions showed as installed, there was no way to start Lego Add-on. This was a problem even when we had
    the Xbox Live trial. Now I purchased a Minecraft start pack disc and the minecoins and starter pack skins that were accessed with codes cannot be found.

    It is very frustrating how I pay extra for add-ons that dont work and it is not a once-off.

    Can anyone help?

    Most of the DLC is tied to the account and isn't shareable like games are.

    You may just have click the start button on the game itself. Select "manage game' and look to see if there's any additional downloads there.
    We have tried that a few times and it hasn't worked

    In order to be able to use purchased games and some DLC, bought by other accounts, you need to ask the buyer of the content to set that new console of yours as their "Home Console".

    So if your parents bought a certain piece of DLC, your parents need to sign in with the account they used to buy the DLC, then they need to go to "Settings", and then "Personalization", and if the console is not yet their Home Console, they need to set that
    console as their Home Console.

    BEWARE! Your parents can only change their Home Console five times during 365 days! So they should not turn off and on that setting unnecessarily or move their Home Console setting to several other consoles!

    After they set the new console as their Home Console, they should download the missing DLC through the Manage game option in My Games and Apps.
