Game add on not installing?

hi there, this sounds like an epic issue, as it will be account bound, i presume you have your epic account linked to your xbox and PC, so everything is playable on both platforms? if your accounts are seperate then it will only redeem on the xbox platform
as from my beliefs you could buy it for each of the seperate platforms, i also believe that the last laugh DLC only appeared on the PC for purchase a few hours ago, so it could be one of a few things,

1 being that this is xbox exclusive and therefore only available through your xbox linked account , if you have the pc version installed then this is different to the xbox version.

2 you have not linked your xbox and epic accounts to your pc account which would be done on the epic games site

3 there is a delay as the last laugh has only just appeared on the pc platform in the last few hours.

but all in all any further issues epic would probably be best to contact.

The games should appear on the "ready to Install" list on your Xbox one. If they are not appearing there then I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm then re-add your account.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before unplugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note=>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

If this is not working then, please check your games through account.xbox.com

If you do not see the games through here, Or if you have checked your Orders as well and do not see them then you might have purchased them on a separate account.

Hey did you check the manage game add ons on the game to see if there was any extra files to download

Finding add-ons

For game add-ons—or DLC—the first place to check is in your games and apps (per above).

In your games list, focus on a game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game & add-ons.

Some add-ons are accessed in the game rather than installed separately. Any installable add-ons or DLC not yet installed will appear under Ready to install.

As long as the add-on is installed that shouldn't be a problem. Go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

From there, kindly make sure that it's installed, and if it is, uninstall and reinstall the add-on.

Without knowing what the game is, I'll say that you either have to buy the DLC on your own or if you already own it for the game downloaded go to My Games and Apps and find the game, high light it, press menu, select manage game and the download content
should be to the right of the game tile on the manage game page. You can then select and install whatever is available and you are entitled to.
