Game access on my boys accounts,

We have two Xbox devices now in the household, Xbox X & Xbox One, I have an account with my devices on them, We recently bought an Xbox X, we used the 1-month free subscription and loaded the lego Forza that came with it,
However my other child can't access the Lego Forza Game on the Xbox One, So If I buy one a game the other can't access the same game. Surely I do not need to buy the games twice, once for each child?

I am really not tech or Xbox savvy I am not a gamer, I just about manage their accounts remotely and have access, however, For instances, I got an email asking me for a game request, one child asked me for some Neighbour game, I agreed and bought it for
them, however, the other can't access that game?

Both my children are on my Microsoft account and so are the devices, do they both need some ultimate package, we have so much to learn about this, I just thought if I purchased a game on one and it was downloaded, if its all linked through my account and
theirs they could access the same games from different devices

You can share games via the Home setting on the console. https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox. Essentially,
you set a console as your Home and they can share games/gold you've purchased on your account on that console. You can only set 1 console as your Home at a time.

The child who bought the other game can also set 1 of the consoles as their Home in order to share the game they bought witb the other child.

To keep from having to purchase multiple copies of games, you should purchase them from 1 of the children's accounts if possible. That way the child who makes the purchases can set 1 of the consoles as theor Home. The child who did not make the purchases
can use the Home console. The child who made the purchases can sign in and use the non-Home console. Then they both have access to everything.

It is set as home console. So my boys won't be able to access game pass games from their account? They'll have to go through mine?

The best thing to do would be to purchase everything on one of their accounts instead of yours. Then one of the boys sets one console as their Home console so the other boy can access the content. The first boy would then still be able to sign into the other
console and access everything on his account.

So 3 mouths on and I still can't access the forums under my gold account (NameMonkey Boy). Sorry for my language but why the hell as this not been sorted????

Thanks for the reply, If I set the boys console as my home console, do I still have full access on my xbox on my office?

And would both console have access to Live at the same time so the boys could play online with each other?
