Gam pass/Gold pass inactive?

I was playing minecraft with a friend, and it had said my multiplayer wasnt working, sk I joined a game with my friend and my chat wasn’t working insteas? I am so confused, and I’m pretty aure its because of the game pass/Gold pass thingy.

when I got xbox, I never had both a game pass or a gold pass, and now its saying it has expired and I’m so confused? This has never happened before and I use to play minecraft a lot.

Could someone please help me with this?

You definetely arent stupid, there is a possibility you had gold without knowing and it had only just finished meaning you would have to by it, you don't nees game pass unless you want the games. However you do need xbox live gold to play and talk to friends

The best thing is to get game pass ultimate. It is a game pass and gold live in one subscription. In that way, you will have gold for online gaming and pass for all these good games. Just my suggestion.

If you have gold and gamepass, you can play any game. But if you dont have those supcriptions then you wont able to play those games you have. But if you have gamepass ultimate, it includes xbox live gold.

You may still have gold working and you could ahve downloaded mincraft off of gamepass. After gamepass ends it wont allow to play any gamepass game you have currently downloaded. Which one ran out, game pass or gold?
