I'm trying to figure out which level exactly you mean. I know for Episode 4 chapter 5 it is on Galileo Base and as far as I'm aware that mission can not be failed, but that is not true for Chapter Episode 5 Chapter 4. In the second one you're tasked with
defending 2 generators and if they both get blown up you do lose. Now if it is the first one on Galileo Base then it is possibly a connection issue or if you're playing alone then I'm not sure. If it is the Cauldron defending generators one then you have to
defend them both and keep at least one alive to be able to finish the mission.
