G2 tethering to Live conection setting?

    G2 tethering to Live conection setting?


    My LG G2 shows 1 connection but the 360 will not connect or go on Live

    I never had one problem with my iPhone 5 and XBone

    conected to internet but not live

    the measge when testing conection is live conection error ? how do i know if my computer is conecting to xbox live?

    G2 tethering to Live conection setting?

    I heard you cannot connect do to security settings in the G2 phone, not 100% though

    Did you change your provider when you changed the phone? Can you connect your PC online through the phone without problems?

    When you do a connection test to Xbox Live on the console, at what point does the test fail?

    Yes switched to ATT the minute it was bought. Connect to all my PC/laptop/ as well as Kindle, no problem at all

    the LG G2 shows 3 securities on the phone (Open, WPA PSK, WPA2 PSK) I have tried all

    I have entered my mobile hotspot password on the 360 as well

    The phone has a tick box labeled "broadcast SSID" not sure if this means anything to the 360.

    When I connect on my PC the phone shows an IP address as well as mac, does the 360 do this as well?

    Once I turn the 360 on the phone shows a "1" in the bars at the top indicating a connection but the 360 goes through the test process and does this

    Showing my G2 phone instantly under connections with a check mark in the corner, it does it's test but just will not connect to LIVE and it comes up there is an update but cannot connect at this time

    Not sure if I need to mess with these settings....DNS, IP address......

    Then this is your problem. There are currently several people with a similar problem, and it's not because your phone.

    Unless you get that update on your console properly, you can't connect. Not with your phone or any other connection method.

    Try the following:

    Go to the settings hub on the far right, then to the system tile in the upper left. There go to the storage.

    There press "LB RB X LB RB X"

    Let the console reboot.

    Try connecting to Live again.
