FXNow barely loads

    FXNow barely loads


    I am on xbox one, and set it up through Comcast. When I start the app it takes forever to show the main screen. When I try to go to the tv show selection it takes at least 3 minutes if it even loads at all. Then good luck trying to get wilfred episodes to
    even show up to select one. If I can actually get to that point then the shows works but the menus make it impossible. I also am unable to access the comedy category. I know there are more shows there cause it worked once. Now it loads forever then tells me
    no items found

    In the time in takes us to go from one episode to the next, we could watch a full show. I've uninstalled reinstalled, deactivated and reactivated, and reset the system. No luck. Any ideas or tips?

    FXNOW?

    When I launch FXNOW, it only shows american horror story. How do i watch other shows?

    G'day Lee! If you're authenticated with your cable provider and you're still seeing messages to upgrade, it may be best to reach out to
    FX Network support and see what's going on with that content error.

    I found it confusing at first too, you have to hit the menu button to find options to view "all shows" inside of that app...it's a pretty stupid layout if you ask me...this is of course after you authenticate the app.

    FXNOW will require you to authenticate your cable provider in order to provide extended streaming support. When you launch the app it should have prompted you to insert a code that then sends you to your cable/sat provider and authenticates that you have
    cable tv service before allowing you access to all content.

    From the sounds of it, it sounds like you're just getting the "Free" content that shows up without registering/validating service.

    I so can't wait for the day when they stop validating cable service and just let us go a-la-carte tv with apps or streaming channels we want :)

    I authenticated my system yadda yadda and when I try to watch an FXM category show it says I need to upgrade?? I do not understand this since our cable is premium.
