    FxNow app


    When I go to activate the FXNow app on my Xbox One, I receive an error message saying Brookwood Retirement community does not currently have access to the FXNow app. The funny thing is I never selected Brookwood Retirement community; I selected Cincinnati
    Bell Fiioptics, and Brookwood is the option in the drop down box above Cincinnati Bell... and yes I am sure that the dozen different times I have tried I have selected Cincinnati Bell Fioptics, it even says my selection until I hit enter. I have also sent
    emails to the FXnow app support (with no replies) I would really like to use this app but am unable too. The Parent company FoxNow app works great.

    FXNow blocking everything?

    The app is confirmed (by me) to now be working, on the 360 and likely XBone. A new version that addresses this issue was recently released, but it needs to be updated manually.

    Just uninstall the old FXNow app, delete FXNow profile data from your storage (this step may be optional), reboot 360 and then reinstall. You'll need to re-authenticate with your service provider after you get back in the app.

    FXNOW App Not usable

    I've deactivated the app, removed the app, removed any parental restrictions at xfinity. Reinstalled. Repeat this several different ways. No luck.

    I live in NYC and have Time Warner cable. Apps such as FX, Fox, and CW do not work. I've contacted the local cable company TWC and they said it was due to license agreements between the networks and the cable co. They said its a matter of time before they
    work. So hopefully people like us who have cable and xbox 1 will be able to enjoy these and other apps in the future.

    It would be nice if I can get my Xbox one to use apps like foxnow and fxnow but direct TV is not supported.

    Exactly, all my apps Fox, FX, Comedy Central are all locked on the Xbox One ONLY. I have access to all those apps and full episodes on a tablet and when I sign in on a computer. But they are all locked on Xbox One.

    I also uninstalled the xfinity app from the Xbox in case this is another useless error from Microsoft that had no link to the FX app.
