Time frame for USB HDD update?

I believe the recordings are stored on the cloud, so they do not take up system space.

It is a top priority for them (www.gamezone.com/.../xbox-one-external-hard-drive-support-planned-for-future-update).

Unfortunately, you are in the minority right now, so the update isn't as important as it will be in a couple months (and probably why they haven't pushed to release it yet).

we have beat this hourse to death time and time again... heck the hourse may be a cat with 9 lives at this point... we want it like a fat kid wants cake... and we may actually be getting it soon.

i personally hope/wish they give the ability to play music from a hd and use in game... (this would help twitch streamers as well) if/when i go hd u bet its 1tb+ so they better let the cat out of the bag what they will support and i sure hope its not a locked exclusive that sells directly from microsoft as a add on for big dollars.

Great news i hope this is in aprils beta preview for the xbox one along with the friend notifications.

This was announced like week one. Old news.

MS are going down the right road with listening to feedback and implementing changes. If they can continue doing this and make the Xbox One more 'open' then they will manage to keep their customer base.

 

they arent listening lol, because they rushed the console out they had already decided to update with all these features anyway and even before the one was released ohhhhhh

One, they announced that it would eventually be coming. With the news of yesterday's update, they announced the external hdd's would be in the
next update, so this is news. However, they never said it would be coming in April.

 

This report is like a newspaper reporting "Someday life on earth will end". It's a "No Duh" statement but with no firm specifics on when, they are basically just writing a story on something everyone already knows.
