    Future Xbox One Update Should Support Music Via USB


    I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets upset when they have to eject a game disc and try to load.up a cd to snap while I play my digital games. Then, when you want to play a game disc, having to try for 30 min to an hour to get it to load again before you
    can continue on. Its time Microsoft updated its consoles to be able to read music through USB. Bringing USB adaptation to its newest console would solve so many problems and would take emphasis off of the disc drives that don't function properly 100% of the
    time. Shout out if this would please you!

    I would've waited til they sent me another survey, but this problem needs to be fixed now! Back when the console was introduced 3 years ago, it wasn't going to be included. It needs to be now. Doing so would solve so many problems.

    Songs not appearing in playlist

    Media update should have nothing to do with playing music - it was for video support via usb

    Zune updates will though

    Ripping Music

    The new updates for the Xbox One are dealing with letting us use custom music. That's something that should have been addressed prelaunch but I digress lol. Majority of the info I have found talk about support for digital music files and sharing files with usb devices. My question is has anyone heard anything about ripping cd's to the HDD like we could on the original xbox and the 360?

    That's been a feature since last year. Have a 32Gb mini flash that goes into the side port when I want to listen to tunes. Haven't used it a couple months since I've been playing Fallout 4, hopefully they haven't taken that feature away...have to try upon
    getting home.

    unfortunately no the june update is for external hard drive support for the storing of games only (once the hard drive is formatted by the xbox one when it is first plugged in only games can be transferred to the external drive) so no music and video can
    be placed on the drive, but Microsoft have stated that usb drives will be in a future update for video and music play back they just haven't given us a timeframe yet.

    BRING BACK CD RIPPING AND VIA USB. MUSIC AND YOUR OTHER FILES SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE XBOX ONE JUST LIKE THE 360. I THOUGHT IT WAS WAS A ALL IN ONE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM?????
