    So I've been thinking...

    Xbox live is a social community.

    You meet people, you game with them, etc...

    While we all do enjoy playing games we also like showing our taste on our profiles.

    This is what the bios and motto's and ect are for!

    But, what really got to me is how gamer pictures are so very limited!

    Back in the old days you were able to take a Xbox webcam and customize your gamer picture.

    Why don't allow us to link our computers with the Xbox web site, or take a file from a flash drive and use a custom gamerpicture without modding it.

    Of course this could be a problem with immature people taking it out of hand but, the xbox enforcement team is very good at what they do! And I think it wouldn't be that big of a problem. I'm a gamer of taste, I like having my profile more in detail and
    customized better to my own liking. I'm not one hundred percent happy with the limited gamerpictures we are forced to use.

    If this could become a reality in the near future I honestly think the popularity of xbox live would increase substantially!

    people like customization, it enables us to use own creative minds and really display what it is that we like. *Future profile customization idea* :)

    I have an unnecessary profile customization and communication ban.

    I have an Unnecessary profile customization and communication ban . The profile customization I really don’t know why I have it I haven’t done anything wrong at all. And the communication is from people telling me Inappropriate Things then when I reply
    they report me. Which is a bit unfair .

    It sucks that the gamer pictures they have you buy you can't preview before purchus they need to do something about that I want to know what I'm buying especaly if I can't get a refund on it

    You can change your icon through a non-updated variant of the app, on your Xbox itself via USB, or on

    the PC app    . Keep in mind though the image size has to be 1080x1080 pixels to be compatible .

    Microsoft have not announced when custom gamerpics will come back. As you stated it's disabled because of the number of users using the service. This is not an issue that needs fixing. It was turned off by Microsoft so everyone could use the service without
    any issues. I'm sure they will announce in time when the feature is back online.
