    Future of Xbox 360 Indie Games?


    With the end of Xbox 360 indie games in September '17, any idea what Microsoft's plans are for the 3000+ titles that are available? Are they going to make them backwards compatible with the Xbox One?? I hope they won't just disappear and not be seen on the
    marketplace again, as that in my view would be criminal. Ok, they are of varying quality but there are some true gems available in the collection I believe. What does the community think about this? Do you have the same worries as I do?

    I joined Xbox Live on the Xbox 360 console very late... around July 2017(!), so have only just discovered the vast library of digital games that are available, hence my query.

    That was pretty much it. They were moving onto ID@Xbox and shut down the indie games for the 360.

    Since it's only on the indie titles from the Xbox 360, I would guess it has to do the age of the console. It's going on 13 years now and I would imagine the focus is going to be primarily on Xbox One, Windows 10, Xbox Live, and

    What makes you think you wont be able to connect with a 360? NO, that's not what's going to happen. The 360 still has a few more years before retirement. This is kinda the Golden age so, enjoy it!!!!

    The odds are that the Xbox 360 will still be able to connect for about another 5 years which to be honest I don't think you'll really care after that much time.
