Furious with Xbox support (lack there of)

I have gone round & round with you guys about an issue with my Xbox One. After your last software update, I have sound but no picture (black screen of death). I know my unit is out of warranty, but after spending thousands with you guys over the years,
I figured I would be taken care of. After dealing with your help desk on several occasions and a trip to the Microsoft store; I finally realized I was getting nowhere fast. Therefore I decided to pay the $79 (which was the price I was given by your representative),
only to now see that it will cost me $115 to have a working device. I need someone to contact me and get this resolved!!! Its pretty sad that the consumer spends all this money and ends up with a nonfunctional unit and poor service. Especially when it it obvious
that your update caused the issue (after extensive research, many users have the same issue after the update)!

nobody will contact you you have to contact them the standard non warranty price should be the 115 not the 79. in all my years with having MS brand products I have NEVER seen a repair for a non warranty covered device go less than 100 bucks.

 

Actually the price varies depending on how you book the repair,well it does here in the U.K.

It's cheaper to get a out of warranty repair online than it is by phone.

Yep, I sympathize. Brand new Xbox One S (release day) and the Que for chat is 50+ and been waiting 90 minutes so far. Like they didn't know it was coming?
